A beautiful sunny day at Shrewsbury Castle for the marriage of Kieren and Sally – “Lord and Lady B”. Bridal preparations were full of fun and laughter as the girls helped Sally get ready for the day ahead. Meanwhile at the Castle, Kieren and his best man enjoyed the sunshine whilst waiting for his bride to arrive. A lovely ceremony within this stunning castle in the Thomas Telford Circular Room where the couple made their vows to each other. The coverage continued with some natural shots of the guests relaxing around the castle grounds before whisking the bride and groom off for a short time to get those all important romantic shots. The views from Laura’s Tower made for some picturesque backdrops for the wedding photographs.
The couple left in their Daimler limoscene for the wedding breakfast and arrived at The Corbett Arms Hotel surprising the guests on their arrival with a car confetti cannon.
The bride lined up all the female guests and threw her bouquet for a lucky lady to catch – not wanting to miss out of the fun the groom also took a turn at throwing the bouquet too!
Some entertaining speeches kept the guests amused at the Wedding Breakfast. Following the meal we headed for the bridal suite for some relaxed shots in their room before heading down for the evening reception to begin.
As the evening air was warm, some more natural shots of the guests enjoying the evening reception both outside and indoors captured the spirit of the day. The cake cutting followed by the first dance ended my coverage and I left the couple to celebrate their wedding into the night with their family and friends.
With over 370 images for Kieren and Sally to re-live their wedding day, here is a small selection of my favourites from their special day…
