Albright Hussey Shrewsbury wedding photography – Oh my goodness we were so lucky with the weather for Steph and Roberts wedding at Albright Hussey. You would not think it was a November day so we made full use of the unseasonal mild weather with lots of outdoor shots. The day was perfect from start to finish and we captured some fantastic memories of the day for this lovely couple. With almost 300 images here are just a small selection from the day.
Northop Hall weddings – Another visit to this beautiful country house hotel in Northop for the wedding of Mandy and Steven. The day began with the bridal preparations in the beautiful bridal suite at the hotel. After some fantastic shots of the girls I went outside to meet the groom and best man for some pre-ceremony shots in the gardens. Back to the bridal suite to capture the bride as she was about to leave for the ceremony, the couples little daughter looked a picture in her bridesmaids dress ! The cermony was beautiful and after the signing of the register, a full group shot and confetti shot we took full advantage of the hotel gardens for some romantic shots of the newly weds whilst their guests enjoyed the hotels hospitality.
Time for the wedding breakfast and the speeches before I left the couple whilst I took a short break to allow them to enjoy their meal and drinks with their guests. Not missing out on the indside of this beautiful hotel I met up with the couple a little later in the day for some shots in the stunning bridal suite and the much photographed staircase.
As the evening reception began, some natural and relaxed shots of the guests before capturing the first dance of Mandy and Steven as husband and wife. The day ended with some perfect night shots in the gardens of the hotel. A wonderful day with a lovely couple. I am looking forward to designing their wedding album for them early next week with their choic of images from almost 300 edited images taken on their wedding day ready for collection in the beginning of December.
The unseasonally warm weather has been fantastic for our Autumn weddings. The colours of the trees and hedges just add so much to the backgrounds for the photography and today was no different. A visit to The Wroxeter Hotel for the marriage of Debs and Ian. The day ran smoothly and with the added benefit of the good weather we were able to make use of the outside of the hotel grounds for some photographs. Such a fantastic couple to work with and we captured some great memories of their day. Once again the album was ready for collection before Christmas. With over 300 images for the couple, here is a small selection of images and a couple of pages from their fully designed album.
A local wedding for a lovely couple who we have known since their early teens, Rachel and Jamie. The bridal preps gave for some fun photos as the girls prepared for the day ahead. The ceremony was held at St Marys Church here in Chirk so the next stop was to meet the Groom and his best men in the Church grounds for some pre-ceremony shots.
We captured some fabulous shots of the brides arrival before I went to the balcony to get the ceremony shots from a perfect angle. Always a pleasure to work at my local Church with such a modern and people friendly vicar, putting everyone at ease throughout the service.
The traditional shots done at the Church along with some natural coverage of the bride and groom and their guests before we went on to Whittington Castle which the bride and groom had opted for a short stop off for their romantic shots while the guests were travelling on the Henlle Golf Club. The photographs here are amazng – despite a short sharp shower that came and went in minutes !
On then to Henlle Golf Club and the speeches before I left the newly weds and their guests to enjoy their wedding breakfast.
Back later on for the eveining coverage and the guests relaxing around the tables went ending with the first dance before I left the couple to celebrate on into the night with their family and friends.
With 360 fully edited images for the couple to choose their album images it was a difficult choice to select some for the blog, but here are the ones that I feel tell their wedding day story ……
A lovely local wedding for me to photograph with St mary’s Church just around the corner from my home and the Lion Quays hotel just a couple of minutes drive from home.
The photography coverage started at The Lion Quays with some bridal preparartion shots of Camila and her bridesmaids. A short drive then to meet Anthony and his groomsmen at St Mary’s Church, with tie to capture a few of the guests arriving before everyone headed inside as the bride was due to arrive.
The inside of the Church gives for some stunning ceremony shots and by using the balcony the grandeur of the Church is easily captured on the photographs. The ceremony was captured perfectly, with the hppiness of the bride and groom really lighting the photographs up.
A traditional confetti shot at the Church before the bride and groom lef in their open top weding car for the short journey to the Lion Quays for their wedding reception.
With such varied and stunning gardens we took some time out to get those all important romntic shots and as the weather was beautiful and warm, the images look even more stunning with the colourful skies.
A full group shot long the canal side, one of my favourite places here to take this specia shot, before the toast master called the guests n for the wedding breakfast.
The speaches entertained the guests whilst they relaxed in the peaceful conservatory overlooking the canal side.
After the meal we took some time out in the bridal suite to get some more relaxed shots of the bride and groom before the evening reception.
My coverage ende with the first dance and the balloon burst celebration on the dancefloor.
Camilla and Anthony have almost 300 images to select from for their weding album design – here are a very small selection that tel the story of their weding day …..
A new, but very beautiful venue for the wedding of Laura and James – The Kinmel Manor Hotel on the North Wales Coast. The sun was shining as I headed to the brides home for the bridal preparations. Lots of laughter as Laura prepared for her day ahead, capturing all those little details she had careful gathered to wear on her wedding day.
On then to meet the groom, James, at the grandest of all medieval Denbighshire parish churches – St Marcella’s – where the couple were to exchange their vows. Some lovely shots with the groom and his groomsmen, while they awaited the arrival of the bride.
The Church layout allowed for some stunning ceremony shots, with every moment captured perfectly for the couple to re-live their vows. After the singing of the register some traditional family and group shots were done within the coolness of the church alter area, with its grandeur made for a lovely backdrop to the photographs.
The weding party headed for the wedding reception venue of Kinmel Manor Hotel, the car shots on arrival showed off some amazing sky colourings in the bright sunshine of the afternoon. Allowing the couple and their guests to enjoy some light refreshments while I captured some natural shots before whisking the bride and groom off to get some of those important romantic poses in the picturesque gardens.
Time for the wedding breakfast and the entertaining speeches before a short refreshment break for me, before heading back to capture the full group shot.
A short visit to the bridal suite for a few more shots with Laura and James before the evening reception. The coverage ended with some natural shots of all their guests enjoying the party atmosphere, the traditional cake cutting and the first dance of the bride and groom before leaving the couple to party on into the night with their family and friends. With almost 350 images for them to re-live their wedding day, here a small selection that I feel tell their story …
I must admit I really do enjoy shoot wedding photography at castles, they really do have an air of romance about them.
From morning to the evening there is always a photo opportunity, be it inside or outside in the fantastic castle surroundings.
Just a few favourite images from this glorious welsh wedding.
This is 1 of the 1st weddings to take place after the recently re-furbishment of the barn and what a beautiful venue. This has to be 1 of the areas premier wedding venues in the Wrexham and llangollen area.
With friendly staff and fantastic views , what else can the lucky bride and grooms ask for. Only living a 5 mins drive away from the fantastic venue I’m sure it will soon become a popular and local venue for me to shoot at.
Here are just a few from the new Tower Hill venue, best wishes to our fantastic coule Claire & Ian.
