Grosvenor Pulford wedding photographer – The last of the November weddings in 2015 took us to the stunning St Werburghs Church in Chester City centre before heading over to The equally stunning Grosvenor Pulford for the wedding breakfast with our lovely couple Sam and Chris. Another dry but bitterly cold day allowed us to get some outdoor shots in the gardens of the hotel, but we made full use of the very warm and welcoming interior of this beautiful hotel. Sam and Chris have almost 400 images to select their album choice from, and these are just a few of my favourits from the day . #GrosvenorPulfordweddingphotographer
The last wedding of 2015 was certainly a wet one. Storm Frank returned with more wind and downpours of rain and hail throughout the day. We managed a few outdoor shots for Sali & Matt between the heavy rainfall, but the weather did not dampen the atmosphere in their “Alice in Wonderland” themed wedding in the little village of Llangynog. The village hall had been decorated wonderfully with all the quirky details to bring the theme alive. The photographs are a perfect memory of their wonderful day and we have captured all the emotions of the day for the couple to treasure. The bride and groom even braved the storm late evening for some outdoor umberella shots – and it was definatley worth it the are stunning ! With over 220 images for the couple to select their album images from, I have chosen a few of my favourites which tell the story of their Alice in Wonderland Wedding Day !
Another Christmas weddings bought me to the fabulous Wild Boar Hotel for the wedding of Sophie and Matt. They had a midday ceremony, so timings were essential to get the most out of the late winter afternoon lighting. The ceremony room is so picturesque and makes for a great backdrop for photographs as does the window with views over the gardens. The weather stayed dry despite the torrential rain we had been having, but we were still able to make use of the paved garden area for some outdoor shots prior to the wedding breakfast. The photographs are amazing – with the stunning backdrop of the hotel and the winter moonlight adding to the ambience of the evening shots the couple had. The couple had almost 300 images to choose from for their album, and it realy was difficult to select a small number to share on the blogs, but here are a selection of my absolute favourites from the day #WildboreWeddingphotographer
#Llangollen wedding photographer The third of the Christmas weddings took us to Llangollen and the White Waters Hotel for the marriage of Claire and Aled. The weather was getting rather stormy and the wind was blowing quite a gale throughout the day. Another late ceremony at 3.30 so we had very little light due to the time of the year. We still managed to get some outdoor shots overlooking the River Dee from the hotel balcony, the the grass was far too wet to go down to the riverside. The day went well and the photographs are beautiful, capturing the special moments throughout the day. We even managed to get a couple of night shots outdoors to complete the days coverage. The couple had over 220 images to choose from for thier wedding album, and I think these tell the story of their day perfectly
We had 4 weddings to cover over the Christmas period. Ceri and Aled held their wedding at the beautiful Northop Hall Hotel, which is a fantastic venue for a winter wedding. We were quite lucky wth the weather, and managed to get some fantastic shots in the gardens – which is definately a bonus for a late December wedding. With over 300 images for the couple to select their album images from made for a difficult choice for them and they decided to upgrade their album, which in fact was designed today and looks stunning! It will be ready for them in two weeks time. Here are a small selection of images from their day. #North Wales Wedding Photographer
Albright Hussey Shrewsbury wedding photography – Oh my goodness we were so lucky with the weather for Steph and Roberts wedding at Albright Hussey. You would not think it was a November day so we made full use of the unseasonal mild weather with lots of outdoor shots. The day was perfect from start to finish and we captured some fantastic memories of the day for this lovely couple. With almost 300 images here are just a small selection from the day.
Northop Hall weddings – Another visit to this beautiful country house hotel in Northop for the wedding of Mandy and Steven. The day began with the bridal preparations in the beautiful bridal suite at the hotel. After some fantastic shots of the girls I went outside to meet the groom and best man for some pre-ceremony shots in the gardens. Back to the bridal suite to capture the bride as she was about to leave for the ceremony, the couples little daughter looked a picture in her bridesmaids dress ! The cermony was beautiful and after the signing of the register, a full group shot and confetti shot we took full advantage of the hotel gardens for some romantic shots of the newly weds whilst their guests enjoyed the hotels hospitality.
Time for the wedding breakfast and the speeches before I left the couple whilst I took a short break to allow them to enjoy their meal and drinks with their guests. Not missing out on the indside of this beautiful hotel I met up with the couple a little later in the day for some shots in the stunning bridal suite and the much photographed staircase.
As the evening reception began, some natural and relaxed shots of the guests before capturing the first dance of Mandy and Steven as husband and wife. The day ended with some perfect night shots in the gardens of the hotel. A wonderful day with a lovely couple. I am looking forward to designing their wedding album for them early next week with their choic of images from almost 300 edited images taken on their wedding day ready for collection in the beginning of December.
Llyndir hall Wedding photographer – Catching up on all the blogs from the end of 2015 today. Jemma and Anthony held their wedding in the beautiful Llyndir Hall Hotel. The weather was not the best with rain throughout the day. The couple had a “Twilight” theme for their room and it was stunning. Such a fantastic couple and it was a pleasure to capture all their wedding day memories for them and their family. It was a great day and we got some fun shots with the family trucks which were parked up at the hotel. Some evening shots outside gave for the romantic end to a perfect day. We even managed to get their album back to them before Christmas – within 3 weeks in fact!
Albrighton Hall Weddings – Another November wedding, this time with the lovely Alison and Paul at Albrighton Hall. We had a fun day capturing lots ao fantastic memories for this lovely couple and again the weather allowed us to do some outdoor shots both in the daytime and of course our most wanted umberella evening shots. It was a late afternoon wedding so the daylight was almost gone by the time the ceremony had finished, but we still got some great shots on the hotels newly installed garden swing. The couple had almost 300 images to choose from fro their wedding album, here is just a small selection along with some selected pages from their wedding album which once again we ensured was ready for collection before Christmas.
The unseasonally warm weather has been fantastic for our Autumn weddings. The colours of the trees and hedges just add so much to the backgrounds for the photography and today was no different. A visit to The Wroxeter Hotel for the marriage of Debs and Ian. The day ran smoothly and with the added benefit of the good weather we were able to make use of the outside of the hotel grounds for some photographs. Such a fantastic couple to work with and we captured some great memories of their day. Once again the album was ready for collection before Christmas. With over 300 images for the couple, here is a small selection of images and a couple of pages from their fully designed album.
