Today beautiful family wedding was held at the beautiful Lord binning in Kelsal just outside Chester.
A lovely venue for the wedding of Gabby and Harry at Hill Valley Hotel, Whitichurch. The day began at the hotel with the bridal preparations and Gabby having her hair and makeup ready for the day ahead. In the hotel gardens I met up with Harry and his groomsmen for some pre-ceremony shots before heading back to the bridal suite to capture Gabby just before the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and I captured the feel of the day for the couple to cherish.
After the siging of the register I took the newly weds off into the gardens for around 20 mins while their guests enjoyed a drink. This gave for some fabulous shots with the fabulous backdrop of the golf club and hotel grounds. After the traditional shots of the family and friends plus a full group shot it was time for the wedding breakfast and the speeches before I left the couple and their guests to enjoy their meal.
Back a little later for some natural coverage of the cople and guests both inside and outside the hotel before ending the day with the first dance. A little over 300 fully edited images for the couple to choose from, and here are a few of my favourites from the day …
A local wedding for a lovely couple who we have known since their early teens, Rachel and Jamie. The bridal preps gave for some fun photos as the girls prepared for the day ahead. The ceremony was held at St Marys Church here in Chirk so the next stop was to meet the Groom and his best men in the Church grounds for some pre-ceremony shots.
We captured some fabulous shots of the brides arrival before I went to the balcony to get the ceremony shots from a perfect angle. Always a pleasure to work at my local Church with such a modern and people friendly vicar, putting everyone at ease throughout the service.
The traditional shots done at the Church along with some natural coverage of the bride and groom and their guests before we went on to Whittington Castle which the bride and groom had opted for a short stop off for their romantic shots while the guests were travelling on the Henlle Golf Club. The photographs here are amazng – despite a short sharp shower that came and went in minutes !
On then to Henlle Golf Club and the speeches before I left the newly weds and their guests to enjoy their wedding breakfast.
Back later on for the eveining coverage and the guests relaxing around the tables went ending with the first dance before I left the couple to celebrate on into the night with their family and friends.
With 360 fully edited images for the couple to choose their album images it was a difficult choice to select some for the blog, but here are the ones that I feel tell their wedding day story ……
Back to the Queen Hotel Chester for the second time in two weeks this time for the wedding of Kayleigh and Ian and a Harry Potter themed day. The day commenced with some photographs in the bridal suite of Kayleigh and the girls preparing for the day ahead. The bridal flowers were individually designed with pages from the Harry Potter books – and they were truly amazing! I met up with Ian and the groomsmen in the hotel gardens for some pre-ceremony shots before heading back to capture Kayleigh and the bridesmaids ready to leave for the ceremony.
Whilst waiting for Kayleigh to make her entrance, time for a few natural shots of the guests in the stunning ceremony room. The wedding vows were exchanged beautifully and after the signing of the register and that all important confetti shot and full group shot, we took some time away from the guests to capture some romantic shots in the gardens whilst the guests enjoyed the hotels hospitality. With some stunning shots all ready for designing Kayleigh and Ians wedding album, we met back with the guests for some more natural shots in the gardens before heading indoors for the wedding breakfast and speeches.
The evening coverage gave for some fun shots of the bride, groom and their family and friends before they took to the floor for their first dance. the days coverage concluded with some stunning night shots in the hotel gardnes before i left this lovely couple to enoy the rest of their special day celebrating with their family and friends.

The stunning Albrighton Hall Shrewsbury was the chosen wedding venue for Zoe and Craig’s special day. I met up with Zoe in the bridal suite for some fun bridal preparation photographs as she and her bridesmaids were getting ready for the day ahead. In the gardens of the hotel I met up with Craig and the groomsmen for some relaxed pre-ceremony shots before heading back to capture Zoe in her dress ready for the wedding ceremony. A beautiful ceremony captured perfectly followed by the signing of the register before heading outside for the very colourful confetti shot. The couple had asked for relaxed and natural coverage of their wedding day, and we got some great shots of their guests throughout the day.
The gardens at Albrighton Hall are truly stunning, especially this time of year with all the different colours on the trees. Taking the bride and groom off for around 30 minutes was more than enough time to capture some amazing romantic shots for their wedding day memories and will look stunning in their album.
With the speeches captured and after a short brek it was back for the evening guests, with sme more natural shots of them enjoying the party atmosphere before Zoe and Craig took to the dancefloor as husband and wife. Once again the day could not end without those very much requested night shots in the gardens which completed a fantastic day with another fantastic couple. A small selection from almost 350 fully edited images from Zoe and Craig’s wedding day.

The day began with the bridal preparations at Sam’s parents home and some fun shots of the girls preparing for the day ahead. A red double decker bus made an entrance into Llyndir Hall carrying the bride and bridal party in time for the couples outdoor ceremony in the gardens of the hotel. Some natural shots of the ceremony – which was perfect, before taking the couple off for a short time around the gardens for some romantc poses whilst the guests enjoyed the drinks reception in the sunshine.
After the traditional famly and group shots we organisined a full group shot – captured from my hotel roof top position before finishing on time as always for the couples wedding breakfast.

Time for the wedding breakfast and the speeches before I left the couple whilst I took a short break to allow them to enjoy their meal and drinks with their guests. Not missing out on the indside of this beautiful hotel I met up with the couple a little later in the day for some shots in the stunning bridal suite and the much photographed staircase.
As the evening reception began, some natural and relaxed shots of the guests before capturing the first dance of Mandy and Steven as husband and wife. It has been a busy couple of months so catching up with blogs from September’s weddings. Bethan and Stuart chose the lovely Holt Lodge as the venue for their wedding day. The day began with some shots of the girls preparing for the day ahead before meeting the groom and his groomsmen in the gardens for some pre-ceremony shots. A few natural shots of the guests arriving before heading back to the bridal suite to capture the bride, bridesmaids and brides son, who was to accompany her down the aisle, just as they were about to leave for the ceremony. The ceremony was perfect, and after signing the register and a celebratory drink, I whisked the couple off for some shots around the gardens while their guests enjoyed the hotel’s hospitality. Meeting back up with their guests for the all important family and group shots the couple requested for their wedding album, before finishing with a group shot and of course a confetti shot.
A visit to the bridal suite to capture a few romantic poses with the couple before I took a break whilst the couple enjoyed their wedding breakfast.
